Welcome to homelessdogs.co.uk!

As the name may suggest, this site is brought to you primarily to show some of the amazing work that shelters and rescues are doing around the country to help rehome some of the poor homeless dogs out there – giving you updates about the smaller rescues as well as the big ones, and showcasing some of the great dogs currently looking for homes.

Though this site is all about the dogs, we would love to get some feedback and posts from you guys as well. If you’ve come across a rescue dog who you think deserves a new home straight away, then tell us all about them and we’ll get them up on this site. We’d also love to hear your stories and see your photos about your very own rescue dogs and how they’re getting on in their new homes. If you’d like to contribute anything else dog related, from articles about training and behaviour, breed profiles, and amusing anecdotes about your pets, please, we’d love to hear those as well! We’re also keen to hear from volunteers, staff members and fosterers from all rescues and shelters to hear about their jobs, whether its a brief look at your daily life or a bigger article you’d like to write.

We’re really open here, so feel free to start contributing your stories and your articles – we really would love to hear from you, and continue to spread the job of rescuing a homeless dog :)
